Majesco invites players to step into the future with AEON FLUX for the Xbox. Based on the movie, which itself is based on an anime series, AEON FLUX revolves around an underground war being fought between an underground operative and the totalitarian regime that rules over the perfect world. AEON FLUX the movie takes place 400 years after the AEON FLUX anime, and the video game has been designed to bridge the gap between the two, ending at almost the exact spot the movie begins. Players take on the role of the female operative Aeon, who is battling against the government of the perfect world. The group she works for wants to reveal the deadly secrets the world leaders have long held secret, and it’s up to Aeon to bring those secrets to light. Players will have a number of different mission objectives to complete, objectives that change as the alliances and politics change. While Aeon will have plenty of enemies to take out, not all of her missions revolve around defeating her foes. One level, for example, requires Aeon to reprogram a number of billboards that are being used to send subliminal messages to citizens. The game contains seven different missions, each with its own unique storyline. Like the anime, the missions often take place in different realities, realities where friends becomes foes and key elements can change. Gamers who loved the anime will love this and all of the other AEON FLUX elements the game features.
